We can't wait for the delivery of our latest acquisition – a RITMO Polyfusion 4, which we will add to our existing butt fusion machine, CNC multi-line bender and our two CNC routers.
This machine has been chosen for its versatility, able to work with a maximum weld width of 4000mm and material from 3mm to 50mm, as well as twin wall sheets like Rochling’s CubX.
Because at IEP we specialise in industrial fume extract plastic ductwork to #DW154, it was important to us that our new machine be capable of rolling sheets and welding 90 degree joints.
However this machine also gives us additional capacity for tank building as well as fume scrubbers and odour control vessels.
IEP MD Steve Barnes commented: “We were hugely impressed with the capabilities offered by the Polyfusion 4. With a full order book, and a number of large projects still up for grabs in 2022 and into 2023, it seemed a no-brainer to invest in greater capacity”.
When asked whether IEP’s existing Liphook facility was the long-term home for IEP in the South East, Barnes was able to confirm that “Our premises in Liphook have served us well for the last 20+ years, but we’ve outgrown them. Looking forward, it’s vital that our new home has the space to allow for future growth, and I hope to be able to make an announcement about this in the not-too-distant future.”
Exciting times for all those involved in IEP.
