Industrial Engineering Plastics Limited (IEP), founded more than 30 years ago, is one of the UK’s largest and longest established plastic ductwork fabricators and is well known for its high quality workmanship and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Allan Clarke, works manager, says “Our bespoke plastic ductwork is used in universities and industrial buildings across the UK and beyond, and we work with the largest UK construction businesses.  In the last six months our major projects have included a university in London, a water treatment works in Southampton and an industrial site in Oxford, as well as exporting product into Europe.  We’re told that the London University project was the largest of its type in the last five years, which is testament to the commitment and knowledge of our team.”

Having taken on several staff in 2016 to supplement the existing workforce, IEP is now recruiting again.   Clarke again “There has been a flight to quality in the last year or so, with customers recognising the benefits of partnering with a company which can meet the highest standards of quality and service.  Bringing another three trainee fabricators into the team will ensure that we can meet this increased demand.”

Key to the company’s success has been its investment in leading edge technologies, which has made a step change in productivity and sets it aside from its peers.  “IEP has embraced the future of fabrication” says Clarke, “We are well placed to meet the challenges of a dynamic and diverse market place, and we look forward to building our team in Liphook.”
